West Ham to move for Man United forward

22 April 2015 - Uefa Champions League - Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid - Javier Hernandez celebrates his goal.

West Ham United are reportedly set to make a bid for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.

A host of Premier League clubs have been linked with a move for the Mexico international who is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford after spending last season on loan at Real Madrid.

And the Hammers, who have publicly expressed their desire to bring in a new forward, are preparing a offer of £12m for the 27-year-old.

The Irons were keen on QPR star Charlie Austin but have been put off by the Hoops’ £15m price-tag.
