West Ham United have reportedly joined Southampton and West Bromwich Albion in the race to sign Vicente Iborra, according to Estadio Deportivo (via Read West Ham).

The Premier League trio are all understood to be interested in signing the Sevilla midfielder ahead of the forthcoming 2016/17 campaign.

The 28-year-old, who started his career at Spanish rivals Levante before a reported £4.5m switch back in 2014, scored nine goals and provided three assists in 47 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga outfit last season.

Iborra, who has won three successive UEFA Europa League titles with Sevilla, could be ready to leave the Red and Whites following the departure of boss Unai Emery this summer.

The report suggests that Slaven Bilic’s Hammers have started monitoring the defensive midfielder, which fellow Premier League outfits Southampton and West Brom have done so beforehand.

Iborra is under contract with the Spanish side until 2020, but is tipped to become a key departure following the club’s managerial change.
