West Ham United are reportedly exploring the possibility of cutting Turkey international ace Gokhan Tore’s season-long loan deal early after a disappointing campaign so far, according to The Sun.
The Premier League side, who drew 1-1 at home to Stoke City last weekend to leave them hovering just one point above the drop zone after their opening 11 league games, are ready to return the winger to his parent club Besiktas.
The 24-year-old, who has 26 international caps for his country, has provided one assist in eight appearances in all competitions for The Hammers so far this season.
Tore, who used to be on the books of Premier League rivals Chelsea, is understood to have cost the London Stadium outfit around £400,000 a game.
The report also suggests that Slaven Bilic’s side have been told it will set them back a whopping £2.5m just to send the Turkish forward back to Besiktas.
West Ham coughed up the £2.5m figure to take Tore on loan for the season, but the Turkish club insist they will not refund any of that fee.
