Name: Dimitri Payet
Position: Attacking Midfielder
Just one point behind fourth-placed Manchester City, West Ham are still in contention to finish in a Champions League spot with nine matches of the season left, and much of that is to do with their summer signing, Dimitri Payet.
The Hammers have won their last three matches, and the France international has once again been influential, setting up one and scoring another as Slaven Bilic’s men came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.
With a number of the Irons’ attackers spending time on the sidelines throughout the campaign, Payet is the club’s top goalscorer in the league, with his nearest competitor being Michail Antonio, who has a hit a rich vein of goalscoring form in the last couple of months.
However, we are backing the former to come out on top by the end of the season, as we have seen that he can score from pretty much any situation, and seems to perform even in high pressure situations.
