Name: Dimitri Payet
Position: Attacking Midfielder
Goal: Bournemouth vs WEST HAM (January 12, 2016)
It has certainly been a fantastic season for Slaven Bilic and his West Ham side, who lie just one point outside of the Champions League spots in the Premier League, with eight matches remaining.
Summer addition Dimitri Payet has proven himself to be one of the signings of the season in the top flight, and it is one of his eight league goals that wins our Goal of the Season award so far for the Irons.
Making his first start in more than two months for the trip to Bournemouth following injury, the Frenchman netted a spectacular free-kick after team-mate Michail Antonio had been brought down 30 yards from goal.
Payet stepped up and curled his effort magnificently into the top corner via the crossbar to make it 1-1, and Bilic’s side then went on to take all three points with a 3-1 success on the south coast.
