Payet has proven to be one of the signings of the summer.
There are certainly notable mentions for loanees Carl Jenkinson and Manuel Lanzini this month, but we have once again opted for the summer signing from Marseille.
Payet continues to impress for the Hammers, and he made it on to the final three-man shortlist for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award.
The Frenchman enjoyed a fruitful October, scoring the equaliser in the 2-2 draw at Sunderland, the third goal in the impressive 3-1 win at Crystal Palace, before setting up Mauro Zarate in the 2-1 success against the champions Chelsea, and being heavily involved in Andy Carroll’s winner in the same fixture.
