Despite sitting 13th in the overall Premier League standings; on their recent form this year, Swansea City would in fact be perched up in eighth spot following their impressive resurgence under new manager Francesco Guidolin.
The 60-year-old, who was appointed Swans manager back in mid-January, has impressively guided the Welsh outfit towards instant Premier League survival during his 12-game reign.
Italian Guidolin has inspired Swansea to pick up a decent tally of 21 points from a possible 42 on offer throughout 2016 so far – averaging 1.5 points each game – a statistic strong enough to pull his side over the safety barrier this campaign.
Having snapped up over half of their total points since the New Year; including brilliant victories over the likes of Everton (1-2), Arsenal (1-2) and more recently Chelsea (1-0), the Swans can look forward to a sixth successive spell in the English top-flight beyond this summer.
