Having joined Arsenal from Southampton at the age of 16, Theo Walcott is the club’s current longest-serving first team player, although many Gunners fans will feel that the forward hasn’t reached the potential that promised so much a decade ago.

After scoring four goals in 21 Championship matches for the Saints, the winger made the move to north London in January 2006, but his impact at the club has largely been hampered by injuries over the years, although he has scored 85 goals under the tutelage of Arsene Wenger.

Despite also struggling to nail down a spot in his preferred striker position, Walcott signed a new deal at the Emirates Stadium last summer, and at the age of 27, still has time left ahead of him to make a bigger impression for club, and country – it is rumoured that he could miss out on a place in the squad for this summer’s European Championships in France though.
