Name: Daniel Sturridge
Position: Striker
It has been another season of inconsistency for Liverpool, despite the arrival of Jurgen Klopp, and it remains to be seen whether they will claim a place in Europe for next season during the remaining 12 matches.
They are currently eighth – nine points behind the Champions League places and three behind Manchester United in the Europa League spot, and goalscoring has certainly been one of their problems – before the 6-0 win against Aston Villa last weekend, they had netted just 32 goals in their opening 25 appearances this campaign.
There is no doubt that the Reds have missed the presence of the prolific Daniel Sturridge up top, with Klopp seemingly unconvinced by Christian Benteke, so much so that he has fielded Roberto Firmino in that position instead.
If he is fit, you know Sturridge will bring you goals, and it could be those strikes from the England international that could shape the remainder of Liverpool’s campaign.
