Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger bemoaned his side’s poor finishing in the goalless draw against Southampton at the Emirates on Tuesday night.

Despite recording 21 shots – with 11 of those on target – the Gunners couldn’t find a way past Saints keeper Fraser Forster, and lost ground in the Premier League title race with Leicester, Manchester City and Tottenham all recording wins on the same evening.

Wenger’s men are now in fourth – below Spurs on goal difference – and five points behind the Foxes at the summit, with a trip to Bournemouth on Sunday up next.

Wenger is the manager who signed Giroud and insisted he is a world class striker.Wenger refuses ti sign any quality player to strengthen the team during the last two transfer windows. Wenger said four days ago that he has a very strong squad to win the championship and the FA cup. Wenger failed during twenty years to build a balanced team and squad . Now at least he should stop talking too much after twelve years of trophyless .
