Atletico Madrid face Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final at the Vicente Calderon on Wednesday night.

While Diego Simeone’s Atleti are chasing their first title in this competition, progression to the final would present Bayern with a chance to take their sixth.

And with both sides renowned for their sturdy defences, some magic in forward areas may be required for either side to conquer.

For this, Simeone will rely heavily on Antoine Griezmann, the club’s top-scorer with 29 goals in all competitions this season, including two to knock out Barcelona in the quarter-finals.

Pep Guardiola, meanwhile, has plenty of options in attack for Bayern, with Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller both in fine goalscoring form this term.

Muller, though, has been the German giants’ main man in the knockout stages, netting in each leg against Juventus, before grabbing a crucial goal at Benfica in the last round.
