Defending European champions FC Barcelona take on fellow Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid in the last-eight of the Champions League on Tuesday night (19:45) as they continue their quest to become the first team to retain the trophy.

Luis Enrique’s side, who suffered a 1-0 El Clasico defeat to arch rivals Real Madrid on Saturday, will try and help star studded forward Lionel Messi bag his 500th senior career goal inside the Camp Nou.

Meanwhile Diego Simeone’s visitors; who currently sit six points behind La Liga leaders Barca in second place, will be hoping top goalscorer Antoine Griezmann can maintain his hot streak in front of goal, with the France international bagging eight goals in his last nine outings for club and country.

With both in-form forwards set to go head-to-head in the Champions League on Tuesday night, here is how Barcelona’s Messi and Atletico’s Griezmann match up so far this term…
