Palace and boss Alan Pardew is a successful marriage, as a team with an increasing reputation, full of flair players with no restraints, seem to keep pushing the Eagles higher and higher up the table.

Step forward the latest Belgian superstar, 22-year-old Michy Batshuayi, who is the ideal striker to be top of their wishlist. Even though a reported club-record will have to be spent to claw him from French side Marseille, Pardew won’t be put off after previous successful signings from the country during his time at Selhurst Park and spell with Newcastle.
