EURO 2016 has been a thrilling competition to watch and all eyes will be on Wales and Portugal ahead of their semi-final clash on Wednesday.

One man stands out from each country – Gareth Bale of Wales and Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal, who both play their club football for Real Madrid.

Bale has been in scintillating form for Wales, scoring three times. Ronaldo on the other hand, has had a mixed tournament.

Strops, missing a penalty against Austria and scoring two goals have been his highlights so far. The two now go face-to-face in a one-off semi-final on Wednesday night.

The Dragons, who are competing in their first-ever European Championships Finals, finished top of Group B, with six points, take on a team, who are yet to win in 90 minutes.

Portugal finished third in Group F, with three points and beat Croatia and Poland on penalties to reach the last-four.

The pair, are vying for the EURO 2016 Golden Boot. Bale is currently out in the lead with three goals, while Ronaldo is close by on two.

Bale however, dismisses talk of the rivalry between the two and instead, says “The star in our team is all of us.

“We are all together, we all work as one, running for each other, tackling for each other.’’
