Man City manager Pep Guardiola is set to continue his overhaul at The Etihad buy brutally axing no less than 10 of his Sky Blues’ squad, according to reports from The Mirror.

After a scintillating start to his Man City tenure, with ten wins on the bounce, the former Barcelona boss is currently enduring a dip in form with the blue half of Manchester without a win in five, but still top of the Premier League.

The Spaniard watched on as his side failed to take all three points from a resilient Southampton on Sunday, who were handed the lead from a woeful John Stones back-pass in the first half.

According to the Mirror’s report, Guardiola – still unhappy with his squad – is set to cut ten players, most of whom have Premier League winners medal in their trophy cabinet.

Six of those to be cut will not have their contracts renewed come the end of the season with Yaya Toure, Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna, Jesus Navas and Willy Caballero all set for the exit door.

Further more, loanees, Joe Hart and Samir Nasri, Eliaquim Mangala and Wilfried Bony will not be bought back into the fold come the end of their respective temporary deals.
