One of the most highly-anticipated Premier League matches of the weekend comes at the King Power Stadium when the leaders Leicester City host second-placed Manchester United.

But while it is a top of the table clash, the main interest around the fixture is because of Foxes striker Jamie Vardy, who will set a Premier League record of scoring in 11 consecutive matches if he notches against the Red Devils.

To make things even more intriguing, that record is currently held by former United attacker Ruud van Nistelrooy, which could add extra incentive for the visiting defenders on Saturday evening.

Vardy is the division’s top goalscorer with 13 goals this season, while his England team-mate, Wayne Rooney, is struggling to find the net for Louis van Gaal’s low scorers.
