Part of Leicester City’s incredible title winning team; the Foxes’ number one has certainly had a month to remember claiming Shoot’s award for their best performer.

The Denmark international has had a truly memorable season, keeping 15 clean sheets and conceding 36 goals all season, and he started the month brilliantly putting in a fine display at Old Trafford in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United, which all but secured the title for Leicester.

The following week saw Schmeichel and the rest of the team lift the Premier League trophy, following a 3-1 win at home to Everton, to cap off an incredible season for Claudio Ranieri’s men.

The keeper ended the season with another excellent performance away at previous champions Chelsea, where he helped his side pick up a 1-1 draw with a number of fine saves – ending the campaign with just three league defeats.
