Man City have been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang recently as rumours continue to circulate concerning a rift between manager Pep Guardiola and Sergio Aguero.

However, should they want to land the BVB star they will have to stump up a club record £72m, and fend off interest from Spanish giants, Real Madrid.

The Gabon international has always made it clear that it is his dream to play for Los Blancos and now, according to German outlet Bild (via Goal.com), the Champions League winners have been set a price.

The striker’s desire to engineer a move to the Santiago Bernabeu leaves Guardiola at a disadvantage, although, the fact that Madrid are currently under a transfer embargo, set to last until 2018, could give them the upper hand should they move quickly.

The 27-year-old has scored ten goals so far this season, one less than Sky Blues legend Aguero, and has netted in all three of the German side’s Champions League outings, whereas the Argentine was dropped to the bench for City’s latest European venture.
