Manchester United are surprisingly keeping close tabs on Chile international Claudio Bravo, according to Don Balon.

The Premier League giants; who were booed off inside Old Trafford on Saturday after suffering a 1-0 defeat to the hands of Southampton, have identified the FC Barcelona goalkeeper as a potential replacement for David De Gea, should be tempted in a move to Real Madrid.

The 32-year-old, who has 99 international caps for his country, has kept an impressive 12 clean sheets in 19 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga outfit this season.

With Spanish rivals Madrid heavily linked with a move for Red Devils number one De Gea, United boss Louis van Gaal is lining up the Barca shot stopper as the Spaniard’s ideal replacement at Old Trafford.
