Rangers have been told that they’ll have to include Michael O’Halloran plus cash if they are to sign up Louis Moult.

According to a report in The Sun Motherwell have already discussed the terms in which they will discuss the transfer of their 18 goal striker who was signed on a free from Wrexham two seasons ago.

Moult has a year left on his Motherwell contract and is understood to be in among Pedro Caixinha’s top transfer targets.

O’Halloran on the other hand has barely featured under the new Rangers boss and went straight into the bad books after missing a Development League fixture.

With a contract running until 2020 Rangers will struggle to find a club capable of matching the wages that the former St Johnstone man is on and may consider sending O’Halloran out on loan.

Motherwell made an enquiry about O’Halloran in January but could now land their man if they can come to an agreement over Moult.
