Chelsea take on Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday with the aim of getting their league season up and running after a poor start to the campaign.

The champions have lost three of their first five matches and have won just once, narrowing their chance of retaining the title with Manchester City already 11 points ahead.

Arsenal, however, have not won at Stamford Bridge for four years and Arsene Wenger has not defeated Jose Mourinho in eight Premier League matches.

The Gunners have fared better, points wise, this term, collecting 10 from their five matches, but performances have been far from impressive.

With both sets of players having plenty to prove, we pick our combined Chelsea and Arsenal XI.

All eyes will be on the goalkeeper as he returns to Stamford Bridge for the first time since ending his 11-year stay with them in the summer. With Thibaut Courtois out, the experienced stopper gets the nod over Asmir Begovic.
