Manchester United host Tottenham at Old Trafford on Sunday as both sides look to make up ground on the top four in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho’s United have struggled to turn draws into wins this season, drawing six of their last eight league games, and their last four at Old Trafford.

Stoke, Burnley, Arsenal, and West Ham have all left the North West with a point in recent months, with United winless at home in the league since they thumped Leicester 4-1 on September 24.

Nonetheless, they won their last game at Old Trafford against West Ham in the League Cup last week, and go into Sunday’s clash off the back of a 2-0 win over Zorya in the Europa League on Thursday.

However, they’ll have to be at their best to beat Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham, who have lost just one game so far in the league, and have conceded the least of any side in the top-flight.

Spurs are six points better off than United in fifth having won seven and drawn six of their first 14 games, and they registered a morale-boosting 3-1 win over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Tuesday, albeit they failed to make it out of the group.

Pochettino’s men lost their last league away game at Chelsea, and they know that they’ll have to be at their best to get a positive result at an improving United this weekend.
