Tottenham looking to do deal for talented Championship starlet

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly trying to seal a deal for Charlton Athletic forward Ademola Lookman.

The 18-year-old, who was playing Sunday league football for Waterloo FC in 2014, has been a bright spot in what has been a difficult season for the Addicks, scoring three times in nine Championship games since making his debut in November.

His performances are thought to have alerted the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Southampton and Arsenal, but it is Spurs, who have given opportunities to many homegrown talents in recent times, who are set to make a move.

The North London club are hoping to clinch the attacker’s signature by offering him back to Charlton on loan.
