Manchester United have been remarkably consistent over the course of the 2015/16 season, but it has been another largely disappointing season for Red Devils supporters.

Louis van Gaal’s side sat in sixth place at the end of 2016, and they have since moved up one position in the league in 2016, lying fifth, one place outside of the Champions League spots, behind arch-rivals Manchester City.

They have struggled for goals, especially in the first part of the campaign, but since the turn of the year they have been the sixth best team in the Premier League, winning seven games, including a 1-0 win against City at the Etihad Stadium.

One of their main threats has been 18-year-old striker Marcus Rashford, who scored the winner against Manuel Pellegrini’s men last month, as well as a brace against Arsenal at Old Trafford.
