Watford’s talisman and an excellent Premier League forward, Troy Deeney has already been earmarked as a potential incoming at Goodison Park in January.

The 28-year-old cost Watford just £500,000 back in 2010, and has since gone on to score 99 goals for the Hornets, 16 of which have come since the Hertfordshire club were promoted to the top-flight in 2015.

Unsurprisingly, Deeney’s excellent form has attracted interest from the higher regions of the Premier League, with Everton monitoring the Englishman’s form ahead of a potential move in January.

There is speculation that Romelu Lukaku could leave the club in January, so a replacement could be needed immediately, and Deeney might well be that man.

He’s strong, holds the ball up well, and can play upfront alone or alongside someone, so could be exactly what Everton need, regardless of whether Lukaku leaves.
