2 targets Man United fans should get excited about in January

Jose Mourinho’s first season in charge at Manchester United hasn’t quite got off to the best of starts.

The former Chelsea boss, who was sacked at Stamford Bridge last December, has overseen just four Premier League wins from their opening nine matches, leaving them seventh in the table.

Their 4-0 hammering at Chelsea on Sunday made it one victory in six for Mourinho’s men, and leaves them five points adrift of leaders Manchester City at the top of the division.

The Red Devils face their neighbours in the League Cup on Wednesday, and could really do with a win over Pep Guardiola’s side to get them back on track after a tricky few weeks.

Unsurprisingly, there has already been much speculation about who Mourinho may try and bring in during the January transfer window in a bid to resurrect United’s title challenge.
