The end is near, as the 2018 FIFA World Cup concludes on Sunday (16:00), with France taking on Croatia in the final at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow, Russia.

Les Bleus, who won the tournament back in 1998, advanced to tomorrow night’s final following their narrow 1-0 win over Belgium on Tuesday night, with defender Samuel Umtiti heading home the only goal of the game.

Meanwhile The Blazers, who will compete in their first-ever World Cup final on Sunday, knocked out the Three Lions in the semi-finals on Wednesday evening, coming from behind to break England’s hearts and prevail 2-1 winners in extra-time.

For France, Paris Saint-Germain wonderkid Kylian Mbappé has been one of the players of the tournament, scoring three goals en route to the final and terrifying defences left, right and centre.

Croatia’s Mario Mandzukic.

Meanwhile for Croatia, fellow star striker Mario Mandžukić has played a key role in his side’s wonderful World Cup run, finding the back of the net twice in the knockout stages, including the late winner against England in midweek.

Ahead of the World Cup final on Sunday night, here is how France and Croatia’s star men match up so far this tournament… Let the best man and team win!
