Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal have been one of the form teams in Europe over the past few weeks.

The Gunners are unbeaten in their last 14 matches in all competitions, dating back to their disappointing 4-3 home defeat to Liverpool on the opening day.

Since then, Wenger’s side have won six Premier League matches, including a 3-0 win over Chelsea, two Champions League ties, and reached the last eight of the League Cup thanks to wins over Nottingham Forest and Reading.

Arsenal sit second in the Premier League, level on points with leaders Manchester City, and travel to bottom of the table Sunderland on Saturday looking to usurp Pep Guardiola’s side at the summit.

Despite their excellent start, some still feel that the Gunners might not have the strength in depth needed to sustain a title challenge, and it could force Wenger to consider strengthening his squad in January.

One area he could look at is his striking options as, with Alexis Sanchez leading the line brilliantly thus far, it remains to be seen whether Lucas Perez is up to it, and whether or not Olivier Giroud will stay at the club.

Thus, here are THREE forwards Wenger should look to sign in January…
