3 midfielders West Ham should look to sign in January

Cesc Fabregas’ lack of first team opportunities at Chelsea will no doubt alert many clubs going into the January window.

The Spanish international has made just one Premier League start under new boss Antonio Conte this season, with the Italian less than impressed when he did start against Arsenal by substituting him after just 55 minutes.

A brace in the Blues’ League Cup triumph at Premier League champions Leicester looked to have resurrected a flailing Chelsea career, but the disappointing display at Arsenal has somewhat put pay to that, as he has yet to appear for the Blues since that 3-0 loss on September 24 (albeit injury has also contributed to that spell away from the first team).

West Ham have already been linked with a move for Fabregas in the January window and, given how influential he was for Chelsea under Jose Mourinho, it’s clear that he can still do a job in English football.
