According to The Telegraph, Ross Barkley is a transfer target for Aston Villa. The 26-year-old has appeared in all of the Blues’ three games so far, scoring in the 6-0 win over Barnsley. However, with a lot of competition in the squad, it looks as though it could be difficult for the 26-year-old to pin down a place in the starting XI. This has reportedly caught the attention of Villa boss Dean Smith, who’s said to be attempting to sign the playmaker on loan. If the Villans can’t land Barkley then it’s thought they could move for Blues teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
