The 20-year-old enjoyed a real breakthrough season at Old Trafford last term, making 36 appearances in all competitions. However, now with BBC Sport claiming that United are closing in on the signing of Porto left-back Alex Telles, the Red Devils could allow their academy graduate to go and get regular first-team football. Williams, who has played twice this term, signed a new contract until 2024 with United back in August.
