Isco has the ability to play in the number 10, out wide, or even in the holding role, such is his incredible versatility. He was mainly the former at Malaga, although played slightly deeper at Madrid.

He is excellent at dribbling and has a great eye for a pass and, given he is better going forward than he is defensively, this could really complement the more industrious Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier in the holding role, who are more likely to break up play and opposition attacks.

Also, he is hugely creative and has the ability to thread passes through opposition defences, so could find himself in one of the three positions behind front man Harry Kane.

He scored 14 times for Malaga in a similar position, but Mauricio Pochettino could put him anywhere in the Spurs side and get a great team player.
