3 reasons why Liverpool will beat Chelsea this evening

Great record vs top six

Liverpool have picked up 12 points from six matches against the other sides in the top six this season, which is more than their any of their rivals.

Their 1-1 draw at Manchester United a few weeks back meant that they remained unbeaten against the fellow top six sides, having beaten Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City, as well as drawing at Tottenham and in both games against United.

Clearly, Klopp’s men know how to turn it on against the top sides – in fact Klopp has only lost one of 14 Premier League matches against the top six, and that came when Louis van Gaal’s United won 1-0 at Anfield a year ago.

Liverpool’s form in 2017 has been poor, but a home game against Chelsea could bring the best out of them – based on previous games against the top six, it will do just that.
