3 reasons why Liverpool will beat Southampton this evening

A 4-3 defeat at Bournemouth has been the only blemish on Liverpool’s record in the last few months.

Dating back to their 2-0 loss at Burnley on August 20, Klopp’s men have won 16 and drawn six of their 23 matches, which includes victories over Chelsea, Tottenham, Everton, and Manchester City.

Their 0-0 draw with Plymouth on Sunday was the first time they have failed to score since the stalemate draw at Southampton in the league back in November but, given that Klopp played a second string side, the Reds boss probably won’t read too much into that.

Liverpool have been excellent in the first half of the season and, although they have yet to win in 2017, their form this season suggests that they’ll get that elusive win sooner rather than later.

Could it be at St Mary’s tonight?
