Liverpool have got an excellent record against the other sides that will be challenging them for the title.

Of the current top six, the Reds have played four of them this season, beating Arsenal and Chelsea (both of which were away), and drawing at Tottenham and at home to Manchester United.

Since Klopp took charge on October 8 last year, Liverpool have lost just one of their 12 games against the current top six sides, which was at home to Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United in January of this year.

Nevertheless, the overall record stands at played 12, won five, drawn six, and lost one, which is excellent, as these matches could decide the outcome of the title.

The main difference this year, except for Burnley, is that Liverpool haven’t come unstuck against the so-called lesser sides.

Combine that with their remarkably good record against the best in the division, and Liverpool could be looking at a 19th title this season.
