Tottenham host in-form Everton this afternoon (1.30pm kick-off) hoping to maintain their fine home record in the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men have won 11 of their 13 league matches at White Hart Lane this term, including their last eight on the spin, and they’ll be full of confidence ahead of the visit of Ronald Koeman’s men this afternoon.

Spurs are second in the division, ten points behind leaders Chelsea, but with the Blues not in action until Monday night at West Ham, the North London outfit have a real chance of piling the pressure on Antonio Conte’s men with victory later on today.

However, it won’t be easy against Koeman’s men, who have significantly improved since their 1-0 defeat to neighbours Liverpool back on December 19 by winning six of their nine Premier League games since then, and drawing the other three.

Their 2-0 success over struggling Sunderland last time out was their 12th of the campaign, and having gone unbeaten in their last five away league matches, the Toffees will be confident of getting a vital away win this afternoon.

Nonetheless, Pochettino’s Spurs go in as favourites ahead of today’s encounter, and here are THREE reasons why they will pick up the three points at White Hart Lane this afternoon…
