Tottenham signed off their 118-year stay at White Hart Lane with a 2-1 win over Manchester United in their final game at the famous old ground last weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men will be temporarily moving to Wembley next season as work continues on the new White Hart Lane next door to the old ground, meaning their success over Jose Mourinho’s men on Sunday brought the curtain down on a wonderful century of football and memories at Spurs’ home.

The result also saw Pochettino’s men secure second place in the Premier League this term which is their highest ever finish in the top-flight, and attentions will slowly be turning to next season and the trails and tribulations that come with it.

Yet one man who looks set to miss the start of the 2017/18 campaign is left-back Danny Rose, who today has undergone surgery on his left knee.

The left-back hasn’t featured for Tottenham since going off injured against Sunderland back in January, and now looks set for an even greater spell on the sidelines after initially returning to training, only for the problem to persist.

That news will come as a big blow to Spurs, and it may even force Pochettino to look for a replacement in the summer transfer window.

And here are THREE stars who could be the ideal replacement for Rose in the Tottenham team…
