Mauricio Pochettino has overseen an excellent start to the season at Tottenham, as they look to juggle Champions League demands with their quest for the Premier League title.

Spurs are the only unbeaten side left in the top-flight, having picked up five wins and two draws from their opening seven games, including an impressive 2-0 win over leaders Manchester City prior to the international break.

However, it hasn’t been all plain sailing for Pochettino’s side – they lost their first Champions League match at home to AS Monaco last month, although did bounce back by beating CSKA Moscow 1-0 a few weeks ago.

Champions League football and the various cup competitions are going to provide a stern test to the Tottenham squad this season, and manager Pochettino may look at reinforcing his side when the transfer window reopens in January.
