3 Tottenham players Pochettino should drop ahead of their Champions League clash

If Erik Lamela is passed fit after a bout of illness, Pochettino may revert to the 4-1-4-1 formation he has used thus far in Europe, which may see Mousa Dembele dropped from the starting eleven.

The midfielder has not started any of the first three Champions League matches, and it looks like Victor Wanyama remains above him in the pecking order for that defensive midfield role.

Spurs boss Pochettino may also have on eye on the North London derby on Sunday, in which he may want a fully fit and fresh Dembele for their trip to the Emirates.
