5 things you (probably) didn’t know about Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus

Four goals in six caps for Brazil

Jesus made his senior debut for Brazil only last year in their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Ecuador on October 1.

And he made quite an impact by netting in the last minute to secure a 3-0 win for the five-times World Cup winners, and the City star also had a hand in their second goal when his effort ricocheted off defender Walter Ayovi into the Ecuador goal.

Since then, Jesus had added three more goals in just five games for his country, netting the fourth in their 5-0 thumping of Bolivia in October 2016, before scoring the openers in the 2-0 victories over Venezuela and Peru.

He has made quite an impressive start to life as an international, and the Brazilians will be hoping that he’ll follow in the footsteps of some of their all-time greats over the coming years.
