Given his incredible goal-scoring record from a very young age, it was clear that Fellaini was going to go on and become a great footballer.

He joined the Anderlecht academy at the age of eight in 1994, and scored 26 goals in his first season there, and then 37 the season after.

Fellaini joined Mons in 1997, aged 11, as his father had a new job in the Belgian city.
