Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has chosen the club he’d like to join in the January transfer window, according to reports.

The Frenchman has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford and looks set to depart at the turn of the year.

According to Sky Sports, Barcelona and Juventus are interested in an initial loan for the 26-year-old whose contract runs until the summer of 2024.

However, the report states that Martial’s preference is to join Sevilla, where he would be expected to get regular game time.

Martial has struggled for minutes this season.

The forward has only made two Premier League starts this season and is set to hold talks with boss Ralf Ragnick over his future.

Martial’s last appearance for the Red Devils came as a substitute in the 3-2 win over Arsenal in what was Michael Carrick’s final match in caretaker charge.

The forward made the move to Old Trafford in 2015 for a then world-record fee for a teenager.

He has since scored 56 goals in the Premier League and 79 in all competitions for the Red Devils.

Martial’s best scoring season came when he netted 23 times in 2019/20 but he has since only managed eight goals in 46 appearances.
