Premier League champions Liverpool visit West London to face Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds secured the title last weekend courtesy of a 5-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur, making Arne Slot just the second manager to guide the Merseyside outfit to the Premier League title.

While Slot will want to see his side continue their fine run of form, it is also an important game for Chelsea who remain in the race to finish in the top five and qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The Reds could reach an impressive tally of 94 points if they win their remaining four matches.

In the meantime, it has emerged that Liverpool could pull off an audacious move for one of Europe’s most highly-rated attackers.

According to GiveMeSport, the Reds could sign Real Madrid star Rodrygo this summer if those in charge of the club are prepared to make a move for him.

Rodrygo has a release clause of £850 million in his current contract

The 24-year-old joined Real from Brazilian side Santos in 2019 and has since established himself as one of the most productive attackers in Europe.

In total he has scored 68 goals and registered 50 assists in 267 games for the Spanish side across all competitions, as well as winning 13 trophies including three La Liga titles and two Champions Leagues.

The Brazil international has a release clause of £850 million in his current contract, which runs until 2028, but the report suggests that the player himself has been contemplating his future in the Spanish capital.

Real have recruited heavily over the past few transfer windows, with Kylian Mbappe, Endrick and Jude Bellingham having all arrived at The Bernabeu.

Rodrygo rejected a proposed move to Anfield in 2019, but the report claims that the Reds could reignite their interest this summer if current winger Luis Diaz departs the club.
