05 March 2014 - International Friendly - Belgium v Cote D'Ivoire - Max Gradel of Cote D'Ivoire scores the equalising goal.

Gradel set up one goal and scored one himself in Bournemouth’s 3-2 victory over Swansea City earlier this month.

Winger Max Gradel was the Cherries’ star international player over the Easter Weekend after inspiring the Ivory Coast to a solid pair of results in his nation’s quest to qualify for the 2017 African Cup of Nations.

The 28-year-old, who arrived at Dean Court from Ligue 1 outfit Saint-Etienne back in August 2015 for a reported fee of around £7m, was the Premier League club’s most active player over the international break, playing two full 90-minute fixtures.

Firstly the rapid forward assisted former Arsenal striker Gervinho in scoring the only goal of the game to win the first of their double headers against Sudan, before Gradel scored himself in the reverse fixture on Tuesday to salvage a 1-1 draw for the Ivory Coast.

Gradel; who has been restricted to just nine league appearances under Eddie Howe this season so far due to injury, although he has scored one goal and provided three assists, now has eight international goals to his name in 39 caps.
