Chelsea have reportedly made a bid for Brazilian wonderkid Pedro Victor, his agents says.

The Metro believes Antonio Conte’s side have attempted to snap up their prime target before rivals step up their interest.

Nicknamed Pedrinho, the midfielder is yet to make his debut for Corinthian’s, though Chelsea scouts watched the 18 year-old play in the Sao Paulo Juniors Cup – a tournament for Brazil’s under-20 club teams.

Speaking to Sport Witness, Pedrinho’s agent Will Dantas said: “A guy called saying he was from this club [Chelsea] and that he’d have an offer that cannot be refused, but others also called saying to be from Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.

“However, there’s nothing concrete so far, maybe because I told everyone I’d only sit to talk after the cup.”

Time will tell whether Corinthians will allow their junior starlet to leave. With Matic, Kante and Fabregas all on top form, it’s unlikely the Brazil prospect would be a key feature throughout the rest of the season.

Chelsea extended their gap at the top of the Premier League to eight points this past weekend. The Blues take a break from the league to face Championship side Brentford in Saturday’s FA Cup clash.
