Wales manager Chris Coleman says Aaron Ramsey could play for “any team on the planet”.
The 46-year-old, who was speaking to the press ahead of The Dragons’ FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifier against Serbia on Saturday, believes the Arsenal star is a talent worthy of representing any football club in the world.
He said, “Take him out of any team and it’s a loss.
“That’s not a biased opinion because I’m a Welshman and we all love Rambo. I’m looking at it clinically.
“Playing in tournament against the top teams, he was head and shoulders above.
“In my personal opinion there’s not a team on the planet he couldn’t play for.”
Ramsey has provided two assists in just four appearances in all competitions for Premier League side Arsenal so far this season, who currently sit fourth in the top-flight table after Sunday’s 1-1 North London derby draw against Tottenham, in which the midfielder featured for 25 minutes.
