Arsenal have reportedly added Germany international forward Marco Reus to their list of potential replacements for Alexis Sanchez, according to the Daily Mail.

The Premier League side, who currently sit fourth in the top-flight standings, 13 points adrift of leaders Chelsea, have been linked with the Borussia Dortmund winger as Chilean Sanchez continually stalls over a new contract at the Emirates Stadium.

The 27-year-old, who has 29 international caps for his country, has scored six goals and provided seven assists in 14 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit so far this season.

Reus, who only returned to Dortmund’s first-team back in November following a long-term groin injury, is wanted by The Gunners as Sanchez demands £250,000-a-week to stay at the North London side beyond this summer.

The forward, 28, who has found the back of the net 20 times in all competitions this term, is out of contract in June 2018.

German Reus has impressively netted 82 times in 179 games for Dortmund overall, lifting the German Super Cup twice (2013 and 2014).
