Norwich City right-back Max Aarons has signed a new five-year deal with the club, despite interest from Chelsea and Arsenal, according to edp24.

The 18-year-old has become a regular for the Canaries this term, making nine appearances in all competitions and notching his first goal in the 3-1 League Cup victory against Cardiff City.

His performances haven’t gone unnoticed with both the Premier League Blues and Gunners thought to be interested.

But despite reported interest from the London duo, the young star has put a stop to any speculation for now by signing a deal until 2023.

Born in Milton Keynes and a former Luton Town trainee, Aarons was playing for the Carrow Road side’s U18s as recently as February.
