Premier League big boys Arsenal and Chelsea are set to lock horns over a deal for Wolves winger Helder Costa this summer, with the Portuguese having impressed Antonio Conte in their FA Cup clash and Gunners boss having sent scouts to cast their eye over the forward, according to reports from The Sun.
The 23-year-old joined Paul Lambert’s side on a permanent basis in the January window, having spent the first half of the season on loan from Benfica, in a deal believed to be worth £13m.
The London clubs could look to offer the Championship strugglers a quick profit with offers expected to be in the region of £20m.
Having made the move to Molineux at the start of the season, the Portugal U21 international is Lambert’s top scorer with ten goals in all competitions, as well as nine assists.
Despite his good record, the forward had a moment to forget over the weekend when, with Gunners staff watching from the stands, he missed a penalty against bottom-of-the-table Rotherham.
