Arsenal and Liverpool target’s release clause soars to £38.2m

Arsenal and Liverpool target Inaki Williams’ release clause has rocketed from £15.2m to £38.2m after the La Liga starlet signed a new deal, as reported by the Metro.

The Premier League giants, who currently sit first and ninth in the standings respectively, have been linked with January moves for the Athletic Bilbao winger this month.

The 21-year-old, who is a Spain Under-21 international, has scored an impressive ten goals in 24 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish outfit this season.

Williams; who signed a new deal at the club until 2021, now means a transfer for either the Gunners or Reds is extremely unlikely during the current transfer window, whilst any future potential deal would most likely see the clubs fork out close to £40m for the winger’s services.
